Volunteer
NGC provides opportunities for individuals, groups, and students to be involved in our Community Programs. We have already welcomed a huge number of volunteers who have joined us in our cross-cultural outreach projects, including student teams from various educational institutions, church groups, and many individual volunteers.
Volunteers will receive orientation covering the following topics:
- our mission, values, and goals;
- our community outreach projects: local, regional, national, and global;
- working in cross-cultural environments;
- a multicultural perspective on individual and group work;
- conflict resolution - processes and practice;
- analytic skills (for self and group reflection as a learning tool).
Volunteers will have the opportunity to:
- be creatively involved in our outreach work, applying their own unique talents and skills;
- work as part of a team;
- meet, interact, and build relationships with children, teenagers, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds;
- contribute towards meeting the practical and social needs of those in that community;
- put conflict resolution theory into practice;
- aquire new skills and experience in multicultural environments;
If you are interested in voluntary work with NGC then please contact us.
For students, internships are available.
You can also become involved by supporting us with a donation.
